Arivva Receives Community Benefit Award

Building pathways to achievement and self-sufficiency through arts-based youth development and industry-specific career training

  • Arivva has received the $15,000 BECU Community Benefit Award
  • Arivva is now a finalist for the 2020 BECU People Helping People Awards

BECU recently announced that Arivva is a finalist for the People Helping People Awards which recognize local nonprofits that their members care about and support. Members nominate local organizations to receive grant funding. Finalists are selected among the applicants, and the community votes to determine the People’s Choice Award recipient.

“Arivva is in the business of helping to change lives. It’s about growth, worth, and relationships. It’s about people and the vast potential each of us has,” shared Spencer Ebbinga, Arivva board member, PLU art professor, and BECU member that nominated the arts and education organization for this award.

As a finalist for the BECU People Helping People Awards, now we have the chance to receive a minimum of $40,000 to reinvest in the community.

As a finalist in this annual event, we couldn’t be more excited. We’re reaching out to ask for everyone’s help: Please take a moment to vote for us as your choice to win the “People’s Choice Award.”

Take a moment to watch our video and vote for Arivva! Participate here by midnight on Friday, November 29.

We would appreciate everyone’s support with a vote for Arivva at https://www.becu.org/members-matter/community-involvement/people-helping-people

Also, feel free to share the BECU post from our Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/ArivvaCAT/ to help us spread the word.

The winner of the People’s Choice Award will be announced in December. We wouldn’t have made it this far without all of our partners, patrons, students, and friends. Thank you for your ongoing support.
