Three New Board Members Join Arivva

Paul Ban, Ph.D., Aryanna Conyer, and Deborah Howell have joined the Board of Directors at Arivva.

Ban recently retired from the U.S. Army Medical Command, where he served as subject matter expert on school behavioral health, community outreach, and educational policy. He was previously Director of Special Education & Student Support at the Hawaii State Department of Education, where he served in administrative positions related to special education, students at-risk, school reform, and educational policy. He work in inclusive practices and equitable access in schools will help in Arivva’s work. Ban earned his Ph.D. & M.A. in Psychology, and a B.S. in Speech Pathology & Audiology, at the University of Hawaii, Manoa.

Conyer is Administrative Officer at the Dept of Emergency Medicine, Madigan, where she wears many hats, including operations management, financial management, human resources management, risk and compliance management, organization governance, and patient advocacy. Conyer works to boost the efficiency and quality of delivering various types of healthcare services. She stays abreast of current industry trends related to healthcare delivery and building internal and external relationships. A servant leader who firmly believes that with the right values and culture, people will do extraordinary things. Conyer earned her Master of Health Administration degree from the University of Phoenix.

Howell is Chief Operations Officer at Workforce Central and has a demonstrated history of working in the workforce development industry. She is skilled in nonprofit organizations, strategic planning, leadership development, and corporate culture competency. Conyer is a strong program and project management professional with a Master’s Degree focused on Organizational Management from the University of Phoenix.
